A word from the CEO

SBT was created by combining new technologies, advances in brain research, and policies aimed at preventing cognitive decline in mature adults.
Cognitive sciences, which study everything the brain does during a day's various activities, have advanced considerably over the last few years thanks to imaging technologies. We are therefore able to not only improve our understanding of brain function and provide better treatment, but can also develop, stimulate and train the cognitive ability of each individual.
In developed countries, as life expectancy continues to increase, maintaining cerebral ability in good working order is now of primary importance. The process of ageing is accompanied by a natural decline in cerebral or cognitive ability, but this decline can become accentuated and assume a pathological form. The growth in those affected by neurodegenerative diseases is a cause for concern in terms of the numbers involved and the suffering of patients and their carers. In France, Alzheimer's disease affects almost 800,000 people and 240,000 new cases are diagnosed each year.

SBT's team is comprised of cognitive science specialists who design software not only for health care professionals working in the field of rehabilitation, but also for anyone wanting to take up brain training to maintain their cognitive skills by means of appropriate exercises and thus delay the effects of aging.

In addition to these health care applications, SBT has developed a range of cognitive ability tests for recruitment and evaluation procedures in the HR sector. Our expertise also serves to develop training courses, and more particularly e-training devices. As in the health sector, the innovative nature of our software places us at the very forefront of this type of activity.

Thanks to the company's scientific potential and significant investment in R&D, SBT constantly ensures that it has the necessary resources to remain ahead of the competition. With more than half of our business generated abroad, with its highly dynamic subsidiary HAPPYneuron Inc. on the North American market and large volumes of product sales on the German speaking market, the strong growth in our sales guarantees a healthy outlook for the company over the coming years. After acquiring the companies Arnava in 2006 and Symetrix in 2010 in the Human Resources sector and Créasoft in 2008 for the speech therapy market, SBT has expanded its activities and strengthened its position in both these areas.

However, we will go even further and we are working hard towards a leading position on the international market.
