In 2008, SBT decided to reinforce its position on the preventive healthcare market by integrating the company Créasoft into the group in February of this year.

Créasoft, a French software publisher, mainly produces speech therapy software, this field being particularly interesting for SBT. Their products are used by many speech therapists as well as the French, Belgian, Swiss and Québec ministries of education.

Créasoft currently and mainly concentrate on language and children, thus offering a dozen speech therapy programs but also for school learning. There is also a range of products aiming at adults with neurological disorders.

Grouping both SBT's and Créasoft's speech therapy activities now provides the group with the leading market position in terms of speech therapy in France, as the software products are both both commercially and editorially complete. Bringing together both R&D teams reinforces the ability to develop new software.


A triple synergy

-    By integrating the PRESCO™ (speech therapy program by SBT) product range to the already broad Créasoft product range, the group has ensured a very strong presence in the speech therapy market as well as providing for an excellent long-term visibility.
-    By integrating Créasoft, which was already aiming at medical homes for elderly people with some of their own products, with the promotion of the program ACTIvital™ (SBT program), the group provided the necessary means (complete product range and field force) to become further established in this rapidly expanding market..
-    Créasoft is already established in the French National Education market with their program "Lire avec Furi" ("Reading with Furi"), and will be well positioned to sell SBT products aiming at developing children's cognitive skills.

SBT is experienced with integrating new companies into its organization as shown by its successful acquisition of Arnava in 2006.  SBT is committed to achieve the same level of success with Créasoft.
